Built in 2009, Con Brio Farms offers a state-of–the art facility that is warm, welcoming, and designed for the health and enjoyment of both horse and rider. Our barn wing contains fourteen stalls that are 10’x12’ and two that are 10′ x 16′ for broodmares. The barn is insulated, well-lit, and well-ventilated. Our feed programme is customized to suit each horse’s performance needs. The indoor arena at Con Brio measures 80′ x 220′. The footing, installed by Dan Car of Wellington, Florida, is designed to offer your horse a low impact, high performance surface. Our walls are insulated and the ceiling covered by a thermal blanket to offer a more comfortable winter riding experience. The thermal, double-hung windows offer views of the surrounding fields and forest and fresh air when the weather is good. The outdoor arena at Con Brio measures a massive 250′ x 300′ making it one of the largest in the area. The all sand footing was professionally installed and features an advanced drainage system allowing for a dry and secure jumping surface after even the most substantial rains. The highlight of the outdoor ring though has to be its location on the highest peak at Con Brio allowing scenic views of the forest, creek, fields, and neighbouring farms. During the cold winter months, one of the real advantages of Con Brio is the heated viewing room/lounge. The kitchen area is set up so hot chocolate and tea can be made, and the coffee pot left on, while the large windows afford a great view of both the indoor arena and the surrounding fields and forests. http://www.dutchmasters.on.ca/projectshow.asp?int_id=100872&int_category=100072
